Class Descriptions

Strength & Mobility for Mamas A supportive blend of strength training, mobility, yoga, and mindfulness. We’ll start with some gentle breathwork and an intentional mobility warm-up. From there, we’ll move through two strength circuits using dumbbells and bodyweight exercises, with the goals of building muscle, developing core stability, and improving posture. And we’ll wind our nervous systems back down with a calming cool down and savasana.

This class is truly movement as self-care: build strength, feel more mobile, and enjoy connecting with other moms in a grounding, encouraging space.

Prenatal Yoga
There is no better time to indulge in the benefits of yoga than with a pregnant body. We begin class with meditation and bring awareness to our breath, using the breath to energize and soothe our bodies. Asanas focus on building strength in our pelvic floor, toning and building stability throughout our bodies. This class will bring you more in touch with your changing body all the while connecting to your baby!

Family Yoga | Ages 0 - 101
This class provides a great opportunity to foster and deepen the connection you have with yourself and your loved one, exercise (with the option to have it be restorative or more challenging), and meet other local gems from our community.

Mini Mom Retreat Join us on the first Sunday of every month from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm for a dedicated space of movement and connection. While our facilitators rotate each month to offer fresh perspectives, the structure of our retreats remains consistent: we begin with a one-hour, all-levels yoga class specifically designed for prenatal and postnatal bodies, followed by a one-hour women’s circle. This circle is a supportive environment to share personal journeys, offer encouragement, and exchange community resources. Light bites are provided at every session to ensure you feel nourished throughout the afternoon.

Restorative Yoga & Massage Workshop We will start with a grounding meditation and then flow through restorative poses with hands-on assists meant to create a calming, soothing, and peaceful practice. While in various poses, the massage therapist will help students ease into a more relaxed state. Students will then be led into an extended blissful Savasana where they can choose to partipate in a Metta (loving-kindness) meditation if they’d like.  

Restorative Yoga & Sound Bath Workshop
Sink into the healing vibrations of a Restorative Sound Bath. Sound baths are a relaxing way to connect with your energy, release energetic blocks, focus your mind, and calm your nervous system. Lie back and allow the soothing vibrations of the singing bowls guide you into a deep state of inner stillness and relaxation. Bring your journal! There will be a few minutes before and after to write/doodle!

REIKI Reiki is a life force energy and is a holistic, ancient Japanese technique for spiritual self-healing, stress reduction, and relaxation. Reiki is a wonderful complemental therapy to any ailment one may be facing. Reiki is a gentle, hands-on, private 1:1 session, where you are fully clothed laying in a comfortable position. The Reiki Practitioner will guide the flow of energy from head-to-toe, focusing on areas that may need more attention. Reiki is a calming and restorative experience, leaving you feeling lighter and more grounded than before your session

 
 
I attended my first Wake & Recharge class with Lyzzette this morning, and it was such an incredible way to start the day. Lyzzette was so welcoming and lead the class well with clear instructions and modifications when needed. The timing of this class was perfect for me as a mom of two young children as I was able to slip out of the house while my kids were still asleep and was home right in time for when they woke up. This class was a perfect balance and was both gentle and challenging at times. I’ll definitely be back for this class.

This (Yoga + Mindfulness for Beginners) is one of the best yoga / mindfulness classes I’ve ever taken! I have been practicing yoga for some time now but I most certainly still at beginner status and this class could not have been more perfect!! Katie is the most amazing instructor her class includes running through a basic flow and working on mindfulness and peacefulness throughout your body. Katie attends to each individual and is so genuine! Also includes a cozy blanket and pillow to keep you comfy throughout! Would absolutely recommend taking this class!!!

So far I’ve attended two yoga classes at Peace in Piermont and I absolutely love it! It’s in the center of piermont and feels like a great way to connect with the community. The first class I went to was a family yoga class which was perfect for me and my 3yr old to do something fun and mindful together. The second class I took was an adult class that was just delicious, the teacher was wonderful and well suited for all experience levels. The owner Katie is a local mom as well and is so welcoming and cares so much. There’s a lot of heart at Peace in Piermont, highly recommend for kids and adults alike!
