π What to Wear & Pack
Please send your camper with a bag or backpack containing their daily essentials. To help us keep track of everyone's gear, please clearly label everything with your child's name!
What to Wear
Comfortable Clothing: Please dress your child in clothes that can comfortably handle a yoga stretch, an outdoor walk, and an accidental paint spill!
Footwear: Sneakers or secure, closed-toe sandals are required for safe movement and walks.
What to Pack Every Day
Reusable Water Bottle: Staying hydrated is a priority. We have water refilling stations at the studio to keep their bottles cool and full.
Bathing Suit, Towel & Wet Bag: Campers are welcome to bring a bathing suit and towel along with a plastic bag (or wet bag) for their damp gear.
A Change of Clothes: Just in case of big art messes, spills, or unexpected accidents.
Sunscreen, Bug Spray & Hat: Caregivers MUST apply sunscreen and bug spray to their child prior to drop-off. Please send a bottle of sunscreen to camp with your child's name clearly labeled directly on the bottle. We will remind and help campers reapply throughout the day.
π Food, Snacks & Allergies
What to Pack
Full-Day Campers: Please pack a nutritious lunch and two healthy snacks.
Half-Day Campers: Please pack one healthy snack for their morning or afternoon session.
Note: Because our campers are so active during the day, kids are often extra hungry! Please consider packing an extra snack or two just in case.
STRICTLY NUT-FREE
To protect our campers with severe, life-threatening allergies, Camp PiP is a 100% nut-free environment. Please do not send peanut butter, tree nuts, or any products processed in a facility with nuts.
Water & Hydration
Please ensure your child has their reusable water bottle every day. We provide filtered water refills whenever they need them.
π± Screen-Free Studio
Peace in Piermont is a proud screen-free studio. To help children fully disconnect from digital screens, engage their creativity, and build authentic connections, we ask that all cell phones, smartwatches, and tablets be left at home or kept turned off and zipped away in backpacks for the day.
π§ Health, Safety & Behavior
Our priority is keeping every child physically safe, emotionally supported, and grounded.
Illness Policy
Please keep your camper home if they have experienced a fever, vomiting, or any highly contagious symptoms within the last 24 hours. If a child becomes ill during the camp day, we will contact you immediately for pick-up.
The PiP Code of Kindness
We practice mindfulness, respect, and community. We ask that campers follow three simple guides:
Be Kind: Use gentle words and peaceful problem-solving.
Be Respectful: Treat our art supplies, yoga mats, and studio space with care.
Be Present: Stay with the group and participate fully in our shared activities.
