The "Both, And" of Summer

Summer has a beautiful way of holding two opposing truths at the exact same time.

You can love your kids fiercely and be thrilled to make memories with them—and count down the minutes until bedtime. You can crave the freedom of an open, unstructured calendar—and deeply miss the predictable rhythm of the school year that keeps the peace.

If you are already feeling that familiar summer tension, you aren’t alone. Freedom is wonderful, but without a baseline of routine, that open space can quickly spiral into overstimulation and meltdowns.

Why We Need the "Both, And"

Kids need the space to just be kids—to run through sprinklers and get messy with paint. But they also need an anchor. For children who feel things deeply—whether they are highly sensitive souls or high-energy explorers—navigating a completely unstructured day can be exhausting.

This is the heart behind Camp PiP.

We wanted to create a screen-free sanctuary where "big feelings" are met with mindfulness tools, and where everyday camp play is balanced beautifully with moments of calm. It's a space where children can learn that mindfulness isn't just something we do on a yoga mat; it’s a practical, learned skill they can carry with them when the world gets a little too loud.

What Balance Looks Like in Action

On any given day at the studio, your child will have choices that honor exactly where their energy is at. We don't force a one-size-fits-all schedule, because kids aren't one-size-fits-all.

They can be high-energy during backyard water play, and deeply reflective during afternoon yoga and pranayama. They can be collaborative and social over group board games and sensory crafts, and completely content tucked away on a yoga mat with a book when they need a reset.

Our goal is to give them the best of both worlds: a joyful summer adventure grounded in social-emotional growth that provides the tools they need to self-regulate and feel secure.

Exploring the Details

At Camp PiP, we keep our camp sizes intentionally small with a 1:4 teacher-to-student ratio, ensuring every child receives the personalized attention and grounding support they need to thrive.
